| Customer Reviews: Refurbed Computer Has Problems September 3, 2010 Linda Holmes (Delran, NJ United States) This tower may be a fine computer from the factory, but this refurbed one has some serious issues. A-drive doesn't work. Game card works sporadically. Not worth the money.
great August 22, 2010 dorschtravis the company did a good job listing the items and i got it with everything ready to go just the main heading listed it with a 120 gb hard drive in future it should say something like one 20 gb hard drive.
My Last time purchasing a used item August 11, 2010 truthatbest 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The first computer they sent me was scratched up and the bottom housing was loose, needless to say it did not work. However, their customer service was great they immediately sent another computer with extra hard drive space and more Ram space capability. It also plays DVDs. All this is great, but I wanted the CD burner as it was advertised on Amazon.
And I was also disappointed each time I turn it on it will not work unless I unplug it and plug it back in. I could have gotten it resolved but was afraid of more disappointment. Needless to say I will purchase no more used and refurbished products unless sold by Amazon.
Just what I wanted April 24, 2010 Bebo Balhan 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I needed a web surfing only computer for my TV. I wanted it to use XP and have at least a 2.0 ghz processor and expandable RAM. I did not need a large hard drive as I store all my data on another computer. I wanted one I could isolate from the other computers and surf without worrying about worms, trojans, etc. getting to my home network. I also use it for e-mail and web photos but nothing that is not going out over the web. I upgraded the RAM and play old Win 95 games on it also, but mostly stream Netflix, download movies, tv shows, and play DVDs. It works well for all of that. If it had a HMDI connector, a larger HD and came with more than 500mb Ram I would have given it 5 stars as a perfect low cost TV computer. Mine did not come with a monitor as is pictured on Amazon but I knew that when I bought it. It does make noise when the drive is running and I have it elevated to reduce the heat build up. So far it has run pretty much day and night for over a year. I also take it along when I travel in the RV for 2-3 months each year. It has been bounced along for at least 10,000 miles with no lose of performance. I use a wifi n card on the road without negative issues. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a TV PC, assuming they are not to concerned about some background humming or are not trying to play more recent resource hungry games.
